Quick Question About the Active Users Section

I've noticed the currently active users section is no longer alphabetized, is it organized based on the first name being the most recent viewer to log on?

Also, some of the names have + signs after the name, whats that mean?

Sorry, just really bored and noticing really off the wall things.
