bad shed???

I have a corn snake that is currently almost 10 months old. I don't have him with me at the moment, he is with my boyfriend who is taking care of him because I have too many cats and siblings at home. Apparently there was black fluid in his shed this morning. Does anyone have any idea what this could possibly be?

Many snakes will poo when they shed. As long as the snake is acting normally that's probably all it is.
