GENETICS:
Homozygous Amelanism (aa) + Homozygous Type "A" Anerythrism (bb) - Both simple recessive

Trade Names:
Snow

Selectively Bred Variations
Bubblegum Snow
Neon Snow
Green-blotched Snow
Pink and Green Snow
Salmon Snow

This morph is commonly known as a "snow" and is characterized by a normal, distinct pattern on a white background. Saddle color is generally pink at hatching and may either fade in contrast or gain color, often various shades a pastel peachy-pink, as the snake matures. Saddle bands are clear but may change in color taking on a yellow or even a greenish hue. Varying amounts of yellow, especially on the neck, are quite common, usually starting to appear after the first several sheds. The eyes are pink with pink/red pupils.

Color hues and the intensity of the colors have been selectively bred, resulting is some exquisitely colored varieties, including bubblegum, neon, green-blotched and salmon snows. Some of these selectively bred varieties may also contain other genes that are affecting the color, such as strawberry hypomelanism, type "A" hypomelanism, red coat and red factor, but in some cases, proving the existence of these genes in an individual specimen as well as determining the exact effect of these genes versus the effects of selective breeding will be very difficult. Test breeding between several varieties has taken place with some intriguing and yet inconclusive results.
