obesity in corns?

My corn snake is a year and 1month old. She is 3 feet long and 180g is this normal?

For 13 months that's BIG! However, until you get at about the 350 gram range, snakes aren't obese. They tend to grow length up until that size range, then can start putting on hips.

I have a male ghost that is obese. He weighs 953 grams and is approximately 4ft. That's about 2.1lbs! The previous owners was feeding him rats! So, I've got him on a diet. He has some lumpy fat deposits towards the vent. Does anyone know if those will disappear as he slims down or will they stay?

Sad to say that those "hips" will always be there.
