Missing scale?

So, my non-feeder finally ate, and now, again, the little guy is giving me yet another scare.
I took him out yesterday for his first time being really handled since the entire non-feeding fiasco began. Upon taking him out, I found that he had what appeared to be an all white scale, or possibly a missing scale? There are no sharp things in his tank that could cut him, so I'm sort of at a loss. He doesn't show any signs of mites whatsoever and his tank is always clean and dry and changed regularly.
I have some pictures, I apologize for their large size, but if anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.

The third one is quite blurry, but in it, you can actually see the depth of the white mark. It does appear to be a missing scale. :(
Has anyone seen this before?

One of my snakes occasionally gets something like that. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but with my snake, it looks like a single scale is trying to shed. It always goes away after she has a shed. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
