Hey.
I'm realy worried about my old snake as you se he had som sort of buildup befor his last shedd.
I have given him baths but couldnt get it of. Didn't whant to pull it cuz it fellt stuck, hard.

The build up started when i had him in a short winterrest. Couldn giv him accuret cold temp so just gave him darknes. He had whater.

Could he be dehydrated? Or could i have missed a bad shedding.
Most of al is he suffering from this?? :(

He needs to go to a vet.

Why did you brumate him? Are you planning to breed? I suggest not trying to brumate corn snakes again, it's really not necessary.

I agree with seeing a vet, sounds like he's got an infection going on, and it looks really, really bad. It's probably from unstable cool temps from trying to brumate him.
And yes, it probably does not feel good.

I don't know what that is, but I don't think it is just buildup from a bad shed. A bad shed usually looks like a single layer of skin with some loose edges where some of it came off. That looks like a thick layer of something crusty. I would take him to the vet.

I live in central Canada and we experience temperatures of -40C frequently throughout winter. I have transported snakes and as long as you have a warm car and a warm rubber mate container- your snake will be fine. You just have to get into the car QUICK!
A vet is truly your only option at this point. If you don't, you are taking the change of your snake dying.

IŽll have to keep him inside my jacket, cuz i have no car. but iŽll fix it!

You can also pack him into a warm cooler, like when you go on a trip or a picnic. I usually put a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel on th bottom of the tub, put in another towel, place the snake bag on top, and then cover with the remaining towel, close the lid and it's all good!

So how did it go? What did the vet say?

Or you can use those heat pads they sell for your hands. I've used it and stuck it to the bottom of the container.

I have a bad feeling that this didn't get rectified.
