Blue Tongue Update

Hello!

So Azure, my first little nugget, is settling in nicely. Today marks 2 weeks that I've had her, which isn't long but there's been tonnes of progress - so to speak! I say she, but could very well be a he. Only time will tell.

Since I've received Azure, she has been eating like a champ, getting in a routine in the morning, and just completed her third shed, which was her first one with me. Tail tip, toes, and everything else came off! There were two spots, both on her noggin, that were a bit tougher so she had a bit of a bath today, which fixed the issue.

Thank you!! Yes, I agree about the inquisitiveness!
She seemed nervous at first, but quickly took full advantage of the space :) when I put her back after awhile, she kept looking up at the top of the vive, which she's never done. I think she enjoyed it!

She looks very healthy. Did you end up customizing your pvc enclosure for it?

Thanks everyone!! I'm glad she's eating the homemade chow ;)
I am in the process of customizing it now TyeW! We just got the rusted hinges and broken lock off, and funny enough, after being outside for a couple of months the enclosure doesn't smell at all anymore! It's amazing. Guess it aired out, even without vent holes somehow.

I'll definitely be posting when that is complete. We are hoping to have it ready when we move apartments, which will be at the end of August/beginning of September!

I was told Azure would grow like a weed... even so, I wasn't expecting this.
This is the difference from the first day I got her on July 8th (left) and today, July 27th (right) -- 19 days later.

Thanks!! I will update when I return home :) I am visiting family in Northwestern Ontario at the moment (and luckily have a neighbour with wifi to check on some things). I won't have seen Azure for almost 2 weeks, so I'm sure it'll be a surprise even for me!
