Bloodred Repeatedly Regurges

Shep151

Too busy to hang out.
I have one of my bloodreds, a yearling, that is regurging every other meal or so. I've taken the only steps I know, reducing meal size, waiting 10 days after regurg to feed. Is there anything I'm missing? I can't figure what could be causing it. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

I am assuming you have checked and double checked your temperatures for that cage? Also, make sure you have sufficient hides, some snakes are move nervous than others.
How long have you had her, and have you ever had a fecal done?

I've had her for nearly 6 months. I've never had a fecal done, only self-checked. She's from a VERY reputable breeder, and I am almost neurotic about hygiene in my snake room. Temps are ~90 and 75-80: hot spot and ambient. She has 2 hides, but one is pretty roomy. I'll give her another tight one tonight. What confuses me is that she doesn't seem to be digesting as well as she should. She'll regurg nothing but a bit of skin wrapped around the spine, and that's it. If it persists, I guess I'll have to take her to a vet. I hope UMC has a reptile specialist!

You might have to get the temps down a bit. 85 in the warm side and low 70's on the cool. The 90 degree temp might be too high. I've heard that around 82 degrees is optimal for digestion.
