I just got these guys and had to share some pictures. Their noses are so cute, I can't quit staring at them. When they eat, and "walk" their jaws over a pinkie, their little noses wiggle side-to-side, and when they're just sitting there, they sway like a leaf in a breeze because they think that camouflages them! They are very alert and curious, but nearly impossible to photograph. My camera stinks, they are tiny, and they never hold still! The male is an axanthic phase. Blue is so rare in snakes! I'm told that their colors lighten and intensify with age, but I think they're already beautiful.

Got them earlier this week from an ad on fauna. Last blue one left, so probably the least blue one he had. Even the breeder wasn't sure how it was inherited. Said he got 50/50 blue/green from a mixed pair. We'll see. Very interesting behavior. Wouldn't mind getting bitten a few times, just so I can tell people from experience that the venom is not a concern. Unless it actually is...
