just saw a weird gooey and cream colored substance on my male corn coming from his cloaca with a bit of it being crusty and he's recently been in a 180 degree mood change and is much more tolerable of being touched. He's 2.5 years old and is 300 grams. Just curious with a constant temp could he be producing sperm plugs at this time of the year?
 
Did the gooey stuff come out, and drop off? That's what I've seen. Nothing staying there and crusting. It's like one or two separate...extrusions of pale yellow/white somewhat solid goo.
 
Yeah it came off it was just stuck to his tail and it fell off when I brought him out. Never seen sperm plugs and it wasn't feces so just wanted input
 
Normally he's always twitchy he's just one of those spazzy snakes but he was extremely docile this time which was really odd for him.
 
I am glad I see these sort of things on pictures before I see it in real life.. Otherwise I think I'd panic seeing that..
 
Just wait till a male decides to evert his hemipenes when you're holding him! Usually you have some warning, though.
 
Nanci lol penises Im used to.. My monitor will sometimes flip it out when you scratch his ear.... And always the same side you are scratching him on.. lol He is such a goof... but the sperm plug is new to me... i would think he was dying or something..
