Is he in the middle of the shedding process? That can cause a regurge. I don't know what a "weaker" is.

But- now you need to skip the next meal- so he ends up going 14 days without food, and feed a prey item half the size of what was regurged. If that stays down fine, gradually work back up to the size of a medium adult mouse (22-26g) every two weeks.

It would be very beneficial to add Nutribac probiotics to his meals for the next several months.

I don't think 48 hours is unusual. 2-3 days, or even longer, is pretty common, in my experience. It takes a certain amount of time for the prey to rot and get rejected.

Have you fed that size frequently before? How often do you feed? Was he handled?

Was handled 4 days after feed he eats similar size usually and feed every two week... I rescued this snake 6 months ago and for two years he had very little heat could this have caused problems for now?

What temp do you have him at now? Did you handle him after he ate, before the regurge?

I would only feed corns up to adult mice , they don't need anything bigger unless you have better access to rats than mice. Follow the protocol that Nanci has talked about, I know it's hard not to feed for two weeks but it will pay off in the long run.
Good Luck

Hey sorry its been a while... Took him to the vets as couldn't work out what was wrong... Had 2 weeks antibiotics then had to force feed a pinkie on vets advice.... Then a week later he strike fed a small mouse and has since eaten two large mice meals :-D

I am glad he is doing better. Make sure he only eats every other week, he is big enough as he is, and you don't want a repeat performance of the regurge!
