Finding a reputable vet (Utah)

I recently got a few baby corn snakes, all wonderful, healthy, and beautiful. My boyfriend also has a 16 year old corn. I started thinking this morning though, if something goes wrong, I don't have a reputable vet lined up.
In my past experience with exotics (hedgehogs specifically). When one got sick, I spent hundreds of dollars in visits, gas, and heartache going from one vet to another until I found one who was competent and helpful.
After that experience I'd like to have something lined up for my little guys (and gals) in case of emergency. I'd also like to take them in for a base checkup and get their sexes checked.
I tend to do my research when I get a new animal. If and when they have issues I have typically been able to figure out what was wrong as well as the best course of treatment and then go discuss it with my chosen vet for that critter.
If anyone has any vet suggestions in Utah (between Lehi and SLC area) I'd love to hear them as well as your experiences.
If anyone has any tips on a way to find a reputable vet without spending hundred on visits to various vets it would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all in advance for your time and sharing your knowledge!

Hmm ... Darn I wish I could remember the name of that vet! I know there is a very good reptile specialist in SLC, my vet here recommended him to me at one point. But she also said that any visit to him was going to be around $500 minimum and go up from there. Though I think that was if there was a problem, not just a wellness check, I imagine those would be way less expensive. I didn't end up going to him with the snake that prompted the recommendation, as a combo of not having that amount of money nor the means to make the 5 hour round trip there and back was not doable. So I have no personal experience with that vet.

But if he's that well known, I'd think most of the vets in Utah would be willing to tell you his name and refer you to him if you called up and asked.

I'll have to check in to it, thank you! I just don't want to end up where I did with my other critters with a sick critter going through appointment after appointment trying to find someone competent. I haven't wanted to call vets and ask simply because many tend to promote themselves instead of whats best for my animals. I can call the exotics vet I took my hedgehogs too though. She was incredible and may have a recommendation. Thanks :D
