Lump/bump

my snake ekans has a lump on his head and I have no clue as to what it could be, he seems a bit different in himself but I don't know whether that's because he's just come out of the blue phase so going to be shedding soon. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/19/052ed038ead8559dff9f31c703b4f3a7.jpg has anyone seen anything like this before?

It does look unusual, but I believe I've seen this happen right before a shed. I would wait and see if it goes away after he sheds.

He's just shed and it's gone back to normal! Strange!

It happens. It seems to be a fluid buildup right before shedding. That's one of the more extreme examples of it I've seen!

Very interesting. I have never seen one that bulbous either! I am glad he shed and is back to normal.
