Eating the mouse tail first

Is this normal? Elsa is so determined to eat every time I feed her, that there is no way pulling the fuzzy away to have her strike again closer to the head. And today she stroke at the butt and it went in butt first. Anything to worry about?

I think it's okay - some snakes just do things their own way.

Found this thread (http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28524) and thought it might be reassuring for you!

Sometimes they do that, nothing to worry about.

Mine did it once and she took it just fine.

Mine has eaten pinkies butt first twice so far. It is no problem. If I remember, Soderberg mentions in his book an adult corn eating a mouse sideways and folding it in half to swallow.
