18 days between sheds?!

So my big male opal Prince charming shed on June 2:nd, and after only two feedings he is blue again. The shed before that was a month apart. He is on small adult mice..

Is he really active with the springtime? My Rigby is all over the viv from April to June and he shreds/wears out his skin so fast that he sheds more than usual. 18 days is really exceptional though. No chance he has mites, is there?

No, no mites.. but he had a small nose rub that I treated.. it has almost healed so can that be the trigger??

ok.. So once the nose has completely healed he should go back to once a month and if he doesn't it's time for a vet trip. Thanks guys! <3

Just had something similar with my Cal King. She seems fine, though.
