Really long blue phase?

Well this is weird. My 13yro Classic Cleo was starting to go blue last week when I was feeding everyone. Stunningly to me, she showed absolutely no interest in the food and refuse to eat. She has always been an eager feeder and never one to miss a meal--only once did she refuse, and she was gravid at the time so the adult mouse meal was too much for her. (She readily ate a fuzzy I offered her the next day.) I shrugged and figured I'd try again in a week.

When I went to feed her today, she wasn't just blue, she was BLUUUUUUUUUUEE...really ugly, cloudy-eyed blue. I was stunned as she was blue (though not to *this* extent) a week ago--usually the ugly phase is 1-2 days, and then she sheds a few days after going clear.

She did eat today, though it took some teasing (again, not normal for her). Anyone see prolonged blue phases before? Since it's hormonally controlled, could this just be a part of her getting older?
