Snake making puffing sound, concered

I have a 4 year old corn snake and he keeps making a phhffff type sound. Also a crackling sound from his mouth. He seems fine, no blood, no nose bubbles, and is eating fine. He did poop 3 times in the past 3 days, which was a little abnormal. Been about a month or so now, we started noticing him doing this a couple days after we got him. Just thought this seemed weird, was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I had that same problem many years ago with a Boa Constrictor. She was diagnosed with a Respiratory Infection, "RI" or bad cold.

A shot from the vet and a slight increase in cage temps cured her and she got better in a few days.

I have heard of snakes getting better on their own, but generally this condition requires a visit to the vet.

Thank you, its just really weird how active he is and seems like nothing wrong. I'll increase the heat and keep tabs on him until I can find a vet for him.
