i have a beautiful 1 1/2 yr old female creamsicle. she ate 2 mice yesterday. i noticed she occasionally breathes alittle heavier and she opens her mouth as if she is yawning. what does this mean??????

Yeah snakes yawn. Though if they do that immidiately after swallowing prey it's to put the lower jaw back into it's proper place. It's fun to watch. I've tried taking pictures but it happens to fast.

I think Jicin is correct in thinking it's a jaw reset after feeding.
