I have a 2001 Female Amelanistic Corn Snake. I bred her to another Amel, but on 6-2-04 she laid 3 slugs. I now realize she was probably too small to breed.
Recently when I was handling her, I noticed a swollen area, about two ,to three times the size of a peanut ( the actual nut not the entire shell and nut)
right above her cloaca. She is defacating, but she is becoming skinny and her spine is starting to show. I'm very concerned about this. Would this be one slug that didn't pass? Could I gently try to push the slug out of her?
Any help would greately be appreciated. Thank you, Stephen
