eating the right way?

I was wondering if a snake eats f/t pinky from the tail instead of the head, could this pose any major risks to my snakes health? If so, how do you change this before it becomes a habbit?

I never had it happen but I've heard it's harmless, especially with smaller mice. the only thing is that it may be a little harder to swallow because the hair and taper of the body go the other way. My understanding is that it's mostly harmless though.

No risk at all! I have several that seem to prefer it that way! Seems strange to me but as long as they eat well, I'm happy!

I think the head end would be easier. Some of my snakes don't care, which ever is quicker, I 'spose! Some have never done it, other like I said, always do it!

Thanx. I had someone tell me different, but i didn't think it would be a big deal. Just wanted to make sure.

 Don't worry, my snakes do that all the time. Sometimes it might seem awkward for them but it really shouldn't be a problem.

3 of mine ate that way when they were on pinkies. as soon as they moved up to fuzzies, they switched to eating normal. who knows?

Right now I have 0.1 amelanistic motley and one I was sold as an albino. I still haven't quite figured out what exactly it is.
