I believe these "pink snows" from my lavender line are probably what RICH calls amel lavenders. I used to sell some to Jeff Yohe in PA and maybe he, RICH, or someone else can tell me for sure. The other sibling is obviously amel.

It has been known that extra pink snows have been coming from the lavender/amel lavender lines. The opals (amel lavs) as hatchlings are a peachy tone. Post a picture.

I tried to post a picture of them but kept getting "too large" as a response. I can email a picture if you want one.

These are a couple of babies I hatched out this year. The first is what I assume to be an amel and anery (possibly Lavender also, pink snow?)

This is what I consider to be an amel Lavender (Opal) no anery.

I do in fact have the second type. I am going to try to get photoshop or some other program so that I can reduce my photos. Some I can post and some I can not. It's confusing to me since I don't know much about photography via computers and images.

Beautiful Opal, Clint.

I shrink all my pics with plain old paint. My digicam takes huge pics so I usually just use the "stretch/skew" option to reduce it 50% horizontally and vertically.

Clint do you have any pics of adult or yearling pink snows? I have one that I can't get a decent picture of because she will not sit still. but from a distance she has a pink hue to her but if you look close it looks like she had bright red saddles under a red veil. I am planning on breeding her to a male that is het for lav and anery and see what turns up.
