2yr old corn suddenly stop eating!!!

my snake has never been a problem feeder till just recently. I usaully feed my snake once a week or every 6 days, but it has refused its food for the past three weeks. I've heard that snakes sometimes stop feeding during breeding season, I dont know if this is true. My snake has been alot more active through out the day and night which is strange cause its usally in its hide. I always think its hungry cause it only comes out when it wants to eat but its not eating. I've tried live, braining but nothing still. could it be sick and should i take it to the vet?

Breeding season is most likely the reason. A lot of corns will stop eating during that time. Plus, they can go pretty long without eating. I wouldn't worry about it yet.

Yep, sounds like typical male behavior during mating season (although I've heard that females will sometimes search out males too, but I've never noticed this).

I have a yearling male, possibly a little under a year, that has also been refusing food for the past couple weeks. Is he too young to stop eating during breeding season? Should I be worried?
