Frozen mouse suppliers

Anyone know of a decent place to order bulk frozen mice in Canada? The one I WAS going to order from is so cheap because they use lab mouse babies (yech). All of the ones I've found links for are in the US and they won't ship to Canada ~.~

You might want to ask Simon. I know he goes through a bulk feeder lot.

Try mouseman out of Vancouver. Shipping to Ontario is very reasonable. Simon also had a few suppliers...check thread in Canadian Forum section.

Why on earth would you need an f/t supplier? Another thread you state that you have 250 breeding females that throw 40 babies per litter. You also state you sell 4000 to 5000 a year. How many snakes do you have?

Correct me if I'm wrong, 250 x 40 = 10,000 That would be every three weeks to a month. Even if you "cooled down" your mice as you said for two months. With those numbers you claim, you'd be producing 100,000 a year. What's happening then to the other 95,000 to 96,000 mice?

Out of a 40 litter maybe 2 survive.. mostly get fed to my exs pets. I REFUSE to feed live, thats why I need f/t. Live is murder. Aslo not EVER mouse has 40 EVERY time. Some only have 1 or 2.

Sorry, still seems strange to me.

BTW...I don't feed live and I raise all of my own as well.

Aye it does, but I'm not gunna let Treasure eat little mice that I watched being born, and a lot of them were hand fed too.

The mice I raise are pet/show mice.. the little of sickly ones get feed to my exs pets.. but I can't feed live, I did with my first snake and it made me SO sick.. my mice are like children to me. Will try to get a picture of Apollo.. my prize winning 6 year old velvet coat.. ex gave her to me as an engagement gift.. cost him around 5K hehe.. yes.. 5K for one mouse =) Most I ever sold one for is 1K... a male velvet.

Not to be bitchy, but perhaps I've missed something.....Where exactly do you think f/t mice come from??? Somebody had to bash their little heads or freeze them to death... :eek1:
