You would think I would have needed this product before now, but I've been lucky so far. I was wondering what actual product some of you have successfully used to scent pinkies as lizards. Is there a specific name? Where do you order it?
Thanks,
Darin
most large chain stores have it or can be ordered from big apple herp. used it before but without much luck. (used with variable kings so take with a grain of salt) i've had better luck just using a frozen anole and rubbing it on a thawed pinky. seems to work better if the pink is slighly damp. also used a bullfrog tadpole (for nonfeeding eastern milks) in the same way with good results. good luck...:)----jim
I have only had good luck with using my roomates live Green Anole for scenting. I just rub the pinkies right on him or on a well used branch in his cage. Works great! Green Anoles are great to have around for this purpose.....you can use a frozen dead one perfectly fine as well...but for me I enjoy keeping ours as a "scenter" and a pet!
