Fuzzies?

My snake is almost at 20 inches in length, I've noticed since I've been feeding her two pinkies every 5 days then just one every 5 days she's been growing faster due to the extra protein. Well, my question is, when do I know when she's ready to stop up to a fuzzy? and how much bigger are the fuzzy mice compared to the pinkies? If anybody could show me a picture between the two, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Feeding 2 pinkies will increase the growth rate substantially. Feed 2 pinkies for a few feeds before you up to fuzzies. The difference in size ranges from breeder to breeder. If you are on small pinkies, the move to reg. fuzzies may be a large leap. If you are on lg pinkies, the move to peach fuzzies is a small but manageable upgrade. Check out www.rodentpro.com for a size comparison. :wavey:

At 20 inches long, likely the snake could eat a small fuzzy. I would just try it and not worry about it. Mine started eating small fuzzies at 14 or 15 inches (peach fuzzies.)

i feed my snake prey 1 1/2 times the size of the thickest part of the body. although i get worried cuz it looks liek the skin by the jaw is going to but open. but thats what i was told to do, so thats what i do. i also read that in the corn snake manual. usually if it is to large they wont try to eat it. good luck
