New to corn snakes

Hello, new member here!

My fiance bought me a snake for Christmas.. as you do.. We recently got a phone call from the previous owner saying he'd found his other snake (a baby) that had gone missing about two months ago and gave that one to us aswell. The problem is that this baby wont eat! We've tried to feed him pinkies on several occasions and he just looks at them and seems completely disinterested!

Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :)

First, how long have you had the hatchling that had gone missing? If recently, it really needs some time to settle in, it may still be stressed. Give it a week or 2 before trying to feed it.

If you've had it for awhile, you could try cutting a few slits in the pinkie to really bring out the lovely mouse aroma :-puke01:

Did the previous owner say if the hatchling had ever fed, was it live, or FT, etc, etc.

Overall, I think you just need to give the hatchling some some to adjust. Try again in a week or 2.

We've had the snakes for about a month now I think. Tried your method to no avail! :( Any other ideas??
