How long should i leave the pinky in the viv until i take it out due to him not wanting it? i dont want to take it out and he then be hungry. Its been in the for about 3 hours now.

I've left them in overnight before. Usually gone in the morning hehe. I wouldn't feed in the viv tho, only in a separte, substrate free area. And don't check too often, you'll stress him out hehe. Put him in a feed cup with the pink in a dark quiet area and leave him for a while before checking.

cool, thanks. was just worried i was gonna take it out and he'd be thinkin "oi, i wanted that, im hungry!!"

I have done the overnight thing, too with some of my newer snakes until I learned their feeding habits. Now I don't usually leave mice with them for more than an hour. My male amel is not really interested in food right now, so after 30-45 minutes, if he hasn't eaten, back into the viv he goes and my snow gets the mouse. She has yet to refuse a meal. Ironically enough, she is the most slender of all my snakes.
