Switching between frozen and thawed

Is this a bad idea? i have a ton of frozen, and my pet store only gets their stock on Wednesday, so sometimes small enough pinkies may not be 100% available ALL the time. like i may have to wait a day or two at the most depending on when feeding day lands. Today for instance i gave my young guy his first frozen pinkie. Although next time he should be fed is wednesday, and i will probably get him a live. Bad idea or mediocore idea?

Why feed live if yours will take f/t? It's cheaper, safer, and easier to thaw out a f/t mouse than to run to the pet store, get a dirty mouse from a million others and feed it. I would just stick to f/t.

Yup. What Meg said.

....but I'm presuming that you meant to title this "Switching between live and f/t....

If that's the case, I'm in agreement with the prior two responses....if not, then definitely, switch 'em over to thawed.

The little buggers are hard to digest, much less swallow, when frozen. :sidestep:

I would just stick to f/t.

That sounds like an answer to me.
