Poo

Suzy's poo is like bird's poo. He's done it in his viv and on my hand, about one per feeding.

But normally when I clean him out I notice a fine yellow powder around the viv edge (this is also whe he poos). I'm pretty sure it's poo that's dried (either in him or out).

Any ideas?

Cheers

I notice this when my snakes do their business in the bath. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

the mysteries of snake-poo!

I can remember getting all panicky when I first had corns, and posted a very similar message on a forum!!!

I've now seen far more snake-poo than I care for, and I can tell you that it sounds completely normal!

The white stuff is uric acid crystals (like pee) and the brown stuff is, well, obvious. ;)

One thing to note is that as the babies grow up, the texture changes. I was really frightened when mine first had fuzzy mice instead of pinkies, because the poo was much darker and more solid! I thought there was something desperately wrong, but in fact it's just related to the food.

Hope this helps!
:D
