A quick question

Never bred any snakes before, just collected them for 5-6 years now. I have decided its time to put something back into the hobby that has given me so much over the years. Thus this year i am planning to breed a normal corn to a ghost corn. I do not have a clue about their hets (if any). Any ideas wot i might get?

A ghost corn is homozygous for anerythrism (type A) and hypomelanism.
Unless the normal is het for anery or hypo, the offspring should all
be normals het for anery and hypo. (Unless of course you get lucky
and the two are also het for something else...those are always
good for fun surprises come pipping time. ;) )

Good luck with them.

(And I'd love to see a pic of the Baird's rat, if you have one. I've got a
couple, myself and they're wonderful!)

will post a pic for ya as soon as poss, that is 1 of my more agressive snakes, Does not like a be disturbed at all, i have to put my suit of armour on just to change water bowls :)

Aggression.

Really? Wow. My 2 are puppy dogs. Always out, always paying attention to what's happening, and they love to be out to interact and explore. They are definitely more aggressive feeders than any corn I have, but real sweet hearts to handle. But, you have variations in any breed, I guess.

Take care,
