Snake Gas

My little '05 upper keys was fed four days ago and he still had a lump in his belly today when I checked on him. He was really thick from his stomach to his vent, so I thought maybe he was a little constipated and the food just wasn't moving down. I gave him a bath and got the expected result - a poop, but the poop was followed by several large bubbles! :grin01:

His belly is mostly back to normal size now.

oh yes, I learned that the hard way. I thought something was wrong with my Nelsons Milksnake becuase she was so distended and actually paid for an xray and exam to find out she had gas! That was an expensive case of gas ($145.00)

I've heard 2 of mine "toot" before when relieving themselves. It always makes me laugh. Sometimes it freaks me out. I'll be reading a book or playing a game, and all of a sudden I'll hear this noise....:grin01:

Somehow I don't think people would believe me if I blurted out... "The snake did it!". :grin01:

My dogs the stinky one of the house too, but unfortunately no one believes us when we point to the dog. Normally results in mum getting the blame because i cant produce gas that way.

It's easy to blame our dog because hers are usually audible. They are not that stinky any more because I switched her dog food. Before that, though, she could clear out a room!

I usually don't hear my dog when he poots, but I heard it this morning and I barely got out of the living room before I puked. He gets stinkier the older he gets. Now my snake will probably have gas, lol. I think it's our water. Florida water is gross.

Blaming it on the dog usually works for my husband. That is, until he blamed the dog while she was outside. She can be gassy, but that is ridiculous! :grin01:
