I cannot figure it out, one of my normals the boy will only ever eat his f/t pinkie rear-end first...??? he bites all along the body, then bam, eats the butt-end first...??? any idea's?
 
Some of them just do it.... my daughter's snake did it for over a year and then just suddenly changed to the "correct" position.
 
With the pinkies, both ends are pretty similar & it is not very difficult for a snake to take a pink breech style. As the mouse gets older, the head end becomes more obvious.
