New here, only my 2nd post!
I recently started weighing some of my frozen feeders and was amazed at how much difference there was. It seems like weight is more important than if they are called a fuzzy, hopper, etc. Also some pet stores sometimes don't have them labeled correctly. I fed a 12 gram hopper last week and the hopper this week was only 6 grams. I also started weighing our three corn snakes. Here is our weights and feeder weights from last week.
266 gram corn, a huge 44 gram adult which is twice the normal for this snake.
74 gram corn, a 12 gram hopper which is its largest so far.
22 gram corn, a 6 gram fuzzy , also its largest so far.
Trying now to decide whether to cool them down for the Winter or keep feeding! :shrugs:
