What do you think?

I was thinking of moving Dante up to Fuzzys but before I did I decided to do a little computer work to compare his size and the fuzzy. I didn't want to put him in a container with a F/T fuzzy just to have him try to eat it so I took some pictures of him and the fuzzy separately on graph paper, and then put them together in photo shop. Anyway what do you think of the sizes, should I wait a little longer? The fuzzy in the picture was the largest in the bag I got. And according to the snake measurer is a little over 1.5X his width.

Its definatly wait, move up to two pinks for awhile if one isnt filling him up.

I'm finding it very difficult to tell as the photo of the snake is too dark to see it's mid-section well.

how do you know if one pink isn't filling him up?

If you don't see a lump after he eats, or the lump is gone within 24 hours, it isn't filling him up.

Thanks for your thoughts guys/girls. I will wait for a while before I start on big fuzzys like that. I will go through the pet store freezer next time I am there and look for large pinkies, and smaller fuzzys. I just fed him tonight on a peach fuzzy and it was the perfect size for him.

Thanks, Kenny

That fuzzy looks closer to 2-2.5x's his width. As others have said, definately wait. If you can't find an intermediate between a pinky and fuzzy, just go to two pinks.

Here is a picture of him eating the peach fuzzy, it seems like this is a much more suitable size. What do you think?

that looks like it's very large for him, Hendrix is about the same size as yours, I've just moved up to 2 pinkies, it fills him up, but is easy enough for him to eat.
