I have a schrenki that has recently developed a skin problem on a patch of skin rougly 1/4 from the front. I've taken some pictures of it to show exactly what I mean:

The animal will not eat. It has shed its skin yesterday, but it did not shed in one piece. It tore at the dry spot and I had to massage most of it off in a bath. The animal is fairly active overall.
I've treated the dry spot with spraying it with T-Rex Bio Mist (a reptile spray containing Jojoba Cactus and Aloe Vera) and bathing the animal in a bath containing the same spray daily.
I'm wondering if this is just extremely dry skin / high temperature (the animal seems to lie in its water container fairly often lately) or something else.
Any thoughts?
