Switching to Rats?

I needs some advise on how I can switch my snakes to weaned rats from adult mice. I've tried twice and they just don't seem interested. Any ideas? Thanks.

It can be hard. I have tried feeding off my gerbils babies to my corns but most refused except my male who would eat a hot dog.

You have to just keep scenting the rats with the mice. Tyr thawing the rats and mice together or even dripping mouse blood on the rats...fed a mouse first the right away try feeding scented rat....

Hmm, I don't know. Frank made the transition without any difficulty at all. I guess I would just try scenting the rat with mouse.

scenting

i feed live so i kept the rat pups with some mice for a day then soon they started eating them without having to do that

Scenting

Like Stephen said scenting is the key, rub the rat with a mouse. If your feeding F/T then put a mouse & rat in the same container you defrost them in. This should work..
Good Luck
