How much should I feed?

I fed my new snake on Sunday and I fed him 2 F/T pinkies. He ate them right away and then I put the feeding container into the cage and he slithered out. He went into his hide and hasn't come out since(that I've seen). I fed him 2 pinkies because that's what the pet store said they were feeding him. I'm not sure if I maybe should have fed him more though. I read on a couple posts about snakes yawning when they're full and mine did not yawn. Is this a requirement to know for sure they're full? Also, how will I know when to switch him to more/bigger food? He's about 15in long right now and a little bigger around than a pencil.

I usualy feed mine when I see them out and about when its dark time crwaling the sides of the tanks and dig in their substrate. Also I'd feed them as many as they can get down.

Yes, the ever popular Munson plan. Remember this is a great guide and if your snakes do not feed, try again in a few days. Do not wait a full week to feed your little ones.
