I think there might be something wrong with my snake

My snake has like this white stuff on his, and his head only. We keep trying to find out what it is but we can`t figure it out. Its like soap scum that you cant get off, but I already know its not soap scum.

Can you post pics? Could it possibly be something like hard water deposits from the water bowl that have somehow scraped out and onto your snake? Pics would help and any other info like temps and cage set up.

Are you sure it's not old skin left on him from his last shed?

If you have pictures of your snake, you can add them to your post by (when you are on the 'post new message' screen) scrolling down and clicking 'Manage Attachments', you may then choose a photograph to add. Or, if the picture is hosted elsewhere on the internet you can simple copy and paste in a link.

If you can't manage pics, can you describe the white area any better? What does it feel like? What have you done to try and remove it?
