We generally feed our corns once a week and they should then Poo about once a week as it is digested. What are you feeding him and how often?

that sounds normal to me. my snake is fed 2 small rats or 2 large mice every 10 - 14 days. he poos every week without fail.

i think this is the normal thing

My snake poos about 2 days after feeding, and then a day later pees.

okay..gross question time...as Skully is my first snake. What does snake poo look like? Is it more like a bird...caulky and liquid, or more like a dog...or ha a rabbit? *giggles at the thought of little round snake pellets*

I thought snakes didn't really pee - that it all came out with their poo? Or am I making that up? Its quite possible!

Are you sure it wasn't musk? Cornsnake waste is like a bird's, and the white stuff when it dries is the concentrated urates, which are analogous to pee in a mammal :shrugs:

Thats what I thought - I was always told that the white in the poo was actually pee.

Nope, Urate.

Bingo.

Trust me just because I've seen it doesn't mean it was on me.
For the first two days I had nagini on nothing but papertowels.
I was no where near bothering her, and all of a sudden where she was a pool of liquid would come out along with a tiny bit of urate.

My african grey also does the same thing, unlike most birds he has the ability to poo, with feces and urate and pee with urine and urate.

Same thing.
