Shedding

I've read in some books before that when corn snakes shed, they will get a white-ish tone to them, then they will go back to their normal color and shed.

About a week ago, he got the white-ish coloring to him, then he went back to his normal color. It's been about 3 days now that he's been at his normal color, and he hasn't shed yet. I'm starting to get a little worried.. is this normal? Should I not worry about this? :( He's such a sweetheart, I'd hate to see him sick.

Thanks. I'll post a picture of him after he sheds - he's so pretty. :)

Shed?

Since he's already turned pale and back again you should try turning up the humidity. A spray bottle will help with that. If you haven't already done this ofcourse. I'm sure he'll shed soon enough. Mine once held off shedding for a week after her pale stage.

I think more (but not too much) humidity would help but youll probably find his shed within the next two days. I don't think you need to worry about him being sick yet. Are their any illneses that slow down or stop the shedding process?
