Is it just my snakes or does everyones snakes like to poo on any meal that is refused? This does not happen every time but it does happen alot to me. Does anyone know why they do this or is it just them trying to make clean up harder?

No, that never happen to me...but how often do you feed?? because my snakes usually go three or so days after the feed.

I've had them poop in the feedig tub, but not on the mouse. Once I watched the snake poo, then eat and then shed. :crazy02: susan

Sorry i have not had that happen either. Its usually 3 days after a feed here.
Do it do this when ever you have it out after feed day? Perhaps it is "house trained" so will only go when in another container?? :shrugs:

I've had that happen a couple of times, I thought they were commenting on the cooking! ( but I've then cleaned tub and mouse and they've gone on to eat)

Never, mostly because I offer the food with tongs, and if it's refused, it's rarely put in there. If I do put it in there and it's ignored after a few minutes it's removed and the snake goes back home. I've never had one poop in the feed tub.

I put my snakes in there feed tubs to eat. Most will eat right away but sometimes they don't so I will leave them in there a few hours or even overnight with the mouse. In the morning I will put them back in there tanks. It is when I leave them in over night that I will see the poo and most of the time it is on the mouse. Could it just be from them moving around all night that stirs them up?
