My snake ate a shaving

My snake ate a Repti-bark shaving twice the size of his eye. Is that O.K.? What should I do? Could it hurt the snake? Please Reply:confused:

My snake did that once and I nearly had a breakdown trying to get it out lol It ended up blocking her digestion and excretory systems and causing a large bulge to form just past the end of her stomach! I learned my lesson that day and throughout the week.

Anyway, if you soak your snake is shallow (compared to the snake) warm water a few times for a few minutes each time the shaving should pass through with the poop and into your bathtub or container etc... If the snake starts gettin' all weird on you then take it to the vet.
