He has not eaten :(

I've had my Butter Motley ( a BEAUTIFUL ) snake. For about 2 months now. I've tried everything in the book, including posting here. I broke down two times and got him live anoles. And he has eaten NO problem, now I'm trying to be strong and not give him what he wants, which is the anole. I currently have him in a Brown Paper bag with a Thawed pinky. He hasnt touched it, but I'm leaving him till morning.

Now I havent been able to get my hands on a anole. I guess their becoming pouplar pets all the sudden. And the expos are coming up in about 2 weeks.

This guy had NOT eaten or even shown any type of intrest in a pinky since I've had him. He came with a female Ultramel Het Carmel. And she is eating and growing like a horse. I couldnt be happier with her.

I do not. Nor plan to give up on this handsome boy. So. What other suggestions do you guys have?

Have you tried scenting a pink with the anole?

The most recent thing that worked for my reluctant eater was scenting with an adult (wild in my case) mouse.

I'm trying to get my hands on a few shedding anole. I figured if I sented the Pinks with the anoles, I'd have a better shot.

What do you think about a sented live pink? He likes it to move, but will only eat anoles. So.

I'd try a lizard-scented FT first, and if he won't take that, then four-five days later a live pink, lizard-scented.

You can keep an anole in the freezer to use for scenting. Rubbing your pinks on it should give them a good extra "lizard zest"
