So, the injury that he has been enduing is showing no signs of healing, but worsening. I cant help but feel like a terrible owner for being so careless as to who holds my snakes. I know one thing for sure, it wont ever happen again. He's gotten so skinny, and it do believe its due to the fact he cannot drink, i've tried everything. He just wont drink and he looks so dehydrated. Seeing as he can't drink, I have my doubts that he will even be able to eat. Something happened to his spine where he has nerve damage and the vet clinic said that it may heal, or it may not. If he is able to eat, then great he would live. I havent tried, but from the looks of him, like i said. if he can't drink i doubt he can eat. Plus. He had a large rat before this whole incident. Oh well. I dont suppose there's any reason for me to beat myself up over this, but i still feel horrible. My head hurts and I didnt think someone could cry so much over a snake. But you get attached. ): I tried my best.

Im going to take him in tomorrow morning to be put down, i dont want him to have to suffer anymore. I cant do anything today, i dont have the money nor the gas to make the trip. I just have to wait.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Maybe, just maybe, the vet will see something encouraging you don't. But you, the owner, knows when it's time to say goodbye.

I know how you feel. i put a post up on here a few days ago saying one of my BP's is about to pass away. I am still debating on getting it put down but the vet disagrees with me and says it has a change of making it.

Sorry to hear about your loss, but I do think you did the right thing. Don't worry about crying over him; it shows you care.

Don't be upset at your cousin, I'm sure she didn't realize what she did.

Take care of your other snake friends.
