So my snake is in shed so i put some moss in her viv

But then just a minute ago i was looking at her, and relized that her mouth was a teeny bit open. i tried to open it more, and i saw a small black thing on the roof of her mouth in one of the groovs that her teeth are in, i thouched it and it came off on my finger, it was this thiny black thing about the size of a grain of sand.

since i put moss in my corns viv i was wondering if she could hv gotten a bit stuck in her mouth, or if it was mouth rott.

PLEASE RESPOND!!

Have you got any books that show health problems? If you do a search for info about stomatitis (mouth rot), it tends to be described as cheesy, yellowish or yellowish-grey. Without pictures it's hard to tell, but what you describe sounds more like dust from dark substrate or a mite

well..... i did put moss in her viv and it looked like she got it in her mouth from her tounge. Not a mite, DEFENATELLY not cheesy.

It doesn't sound like mouth rot. I had treat a florida king that had it, but it wasn't black.

Usually 2-5 days after clearing they'll shed
