I doubt any damage was done, she's just exploring her new surroundings.

As long as shes moving around normally, I wouldnt worry about it. Mine did that (and still do occasionally even though theyre getting a little big for it) and always seemed to be ok after a fall.
Congrats on your new beauty too!

You'd be surprised the heights they can fall from... Chompy's launched himself out of my hands and fell a good 3ft to the floor and its not even winded him. :)

Think of it this way quote from Reptile Keeper's Gides Corn snakes by R.D.Bartlett, "do not be frighted if a snake has a little fall, they are used to falling out of trees but still try not to do it". I think your baby girl will be ok.

They do that all the time! They love to go up there. make sure she has nice soft aspen to land on.

YEha thanks to all of you, I was soo worried! and yes I do have aspen!!! She could only fit about 1/4 of her body or 3/8 of it up on the rim anyways, so hopefully in a couple weeks she won't be able to fit up there anymore, or they jsut might not want to lol :)
Also, she seams fine, I still am adjusting my UTH, it was perfect temp with the lamp on, but once it was off, the temp dropped down to 76.6 degrees, so I had to trun it up, i guess I will jsut use a fleurescent bulb so it won't affect the temp at all! So, yeah, now she is just bouroughin in the aspen, hiding lol, hopefully she will be like "Oh i fell from that place last time, I better not go up there anymore" lol :)) :)

After this post, I was watching Jasmine. She crawled up a vine and got the upper third of her body into the ledge, and then fell, so she was hanging by her head and neck, but she wouldn't let go- she traversed the whole length of a 20L like that! She wasn't wedged in enough to pull the rest of her body up, and it looked like she was tippy-toeing along on her tail!

Ha ha, my snake falls all the time! He'll stretch himself up as far as he can as he's sitting on a log or something then he'll fall over backwards! LOL. He also climbs up and wedges himself along the top of the screen top and he'll fall out of there too. And I only have paper towels on the bottom. First time I saw him fall it freaked me out too but then when I realized that it didn't even phase him I was like, oh, okay.

So not to worry. ;)

One time I was holding my snake... and it fell down the stairs. Then I picked it up and it fell down the other stairs and all of a sudden my mum came, got scared and threw him out the window.. but he was fine. :)

* This is a fictonal story. No snake was harmed, ever, while writing this comment. *
