Tip: Feeder Tube

This is an idea I had that I have been using quite effectively:
I keep all of my snakes on Aspen and I never liked the idea of taking them out to feed and putting them back in for 2 reasons, I imagine it causes stress on the snake at a time when they don't need it and it's easier this way, so this is what I do...
I take the empty Crystal Light plastic tubes/cans, translucent and approx.3"x 8" long that the product comes in and put the F/T feeder, nose pointing out, in the bottom and then gently lay it on it's side so the feeder stays near the bottom/closed end of the tube and place the open end near the hide where the snake is.
The snake usually finds it pretty quickly, the tube concentrates the scent, goes in eats using the sides of the tube for leverage and then exits...
They haven't pulled it out into the substrate yet and the translucent sides make it easy to see if they've eaten it or not.
I first started doing this with toilet rolls, open at both ends and had success, but worried about substrate.
The same thing could be done with PVC pipe, open or closed...
Hope this helps someone, Kyle :)
