My Corn Snake's eco terrarium humidity levels have sky-rocketed scince I changed the bedding to aspen. The humidity level reads 80. Is this harmful to my snake? How do I decrease the humidity?

yea to high of humidity for to long can cause your snake to have a respiratory problems...the best thing to do is either make more ventilation for the terrarium or if it wasnt that high before then go back to the substrate you were using

That is pretty high. I read that they recommend between 40-60. Do what was recommended above. Messing with humidity can lead to respiratory problems in your snake...

You could also watch it the aspen should dry out, but if it sticks that high, you just can't have that.

Pfft! I wish I had problems with too high humidity! Count yourself lucky! Decreasing humidity is easier then increasing in my opinion. I have massive problems with humidity levels being so low (mostly with the higher humidity reptiles like the BPs and Boas).

Increasing the ventilation will definitely help.
