Tang likes to boogie oogie
Sometimes when I have him out crawling around, he moves forward while moving his head side to side like he is dancing. Does your snake do this? Is it a mating thing? Or just a happy movement kind of thing?

If his tongue is flicker in and out then he is in hunting mode. Or he just may do that to see where it is safe to go; unless he is wearing an iPod and then he is getting down with it.
Anybody else have any idea of what this behavior might mean?

The head movement from side to side is is just a defensive response when he weary of the boogie oogie man coming to get 'em.

Sometimes snakes do things that have no explaination. Each has their own personality.

Hi,
it sounds like he is trying to get a good look of his surroundings, so he knows where to hide when the boogie oogie man comes, :)
