Is sabrina overweight at 700grams? She's not fatty, she seems to have muscle.. Also should I be feeding her every 7 or 10/12 days.. ?

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to tell you just from weight, as some people have corns that way 1000+, it s gotta depend on some variables, length etc.
Best bet is to add a pic i reckon ;)

Well, length, age, sex (female since you say "she," but do you know that she's really female?), bloodline, and an image would help. I assume cornsnake (no cross or anything), but you don't say. This is a diverse site. :)
I've got some Okeetee line cornsnakes that are large and NOT obese at more than that....but I also have some younger, smaller, bloods that would be obese at half that mass.

Well I say she, but I have not yet had that confirmed, shes a pure corn snake, about 5-8 years old, probably about 5ft long.
Im more worried about how much I should feed her and how often, shes been on mice once a week for the last year, but Im wondering if she should go upto 12 days and what grams of mice she should be on..

She doesn't look obese to me, although it would be better if you could get a picture of the area near her cloaca. At that age and length, 700 grams seems fine to me. Maybe someone else can elaborate. :)

How dare you change your avatar Mr. Dean!
I'll never forgive you.
Haha, just kidding. I didn't even recognize you. Your avatar is pretty cool, though.
But back to the topic, I have a question about my own corn. And no, I'm not trying to hijack the thread, just wanted to know because it seems like the OP's questions have been answered, and my own question relates to that of the OP's.
My corn is at 32 grams, and is coming up on the 1 1/2 foot mark. Is he about the right size? I was looking at The Munson Plan and even though I know it's only supposed to be a guide, it seems my corn is not ready for a fuzzy.

From the other topic on this forum that you recently posted in about feeding.
I don't think you're interpreting what I wrote correctly. I wrote:
This relates more to the frequency of feedings than the prey size. But even where it relates to prey size, it doesn't mean that your snake can't handle the size I recommend. A snake may refuse the recommended size for some reason, but that doesn't mean it couldn't handle it.
At 32g, your snake could handle even larger fuzzies. No offense, but I'm guessing that your lack of experience may prompt you to believe that he can't handle it. Defer to my experience in this matter-- he CAN. :)

Dean's lucky to have people to do his dirty work. :) For some reason my User CP doesn't like me, and randomly unsubscribes me from threads. If I had read Dean's post I wouldn't have asked my question, but thanks anyway.
